Our business incorporates two companies with a combined experience of close to thirty years serving a wide range of different clients. Urbecon was founded by Peter Gresham in 1985 and was incorporated in 1992. The focus is on local and regional economic development and the company boasts an impressive client list in the UK and in the International arena. In 1998 Urbecon launched the Urbecon Crime and Community Safety Unit (UCU) which brings together academic researchers, practitioners and consultants to offer a comprehensive service of advice and assistance on every aspect of crime and community safety. Platinumlinks Ltd was formed by Abdul Rahim and started trading in March 2000 and the company focused its activities in the Thames Gateway area of London and provided business support and advisory services. The company supplies project management and project delivery on behalf of business support organisations. In July 2006 Platinumlinks Ltd and Urbecon Ltd merged to provide a multi-disciplinary service to local, regional and international organisations. Peter Gresham is Chairman of the group and Abdul Rahim is the managing director. The combined group serves a client list which includes national government departments, national institutions, private sector firms and local authorities. We have also worked with international organisations, non-governmental organisations and government agencies from China, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan and Zimbabwe. |
